In addition to our regular visits to the sick and elderly, The Jewish Chaplaincy Program works with other organizations and Greater Miami Jewish Federation departments to present and participate in special events throughout the Jewish calendar year. From pre-Shabbat celebrations to festive holiday programs, these meaningful events touch the hearts of recipients and volunteers alike.
Since our mission of caring also extends to caregivers, The Jewish Chaplaincy Program organizes annual conferences on aging for healthcare professionals, clergy, social workers and other concerned individuals. Such programs enhance understanding of difficult topics and increase awareness about helpful resources.
