Three Honored for Volunteerism

The Jewish Volunteer Center (JVC) of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation recently presented awards to three exceptional individuals from Miami’s Jewish community. Seth Kudish (center) was named 2011 Outstanding Young Adult Volunteer, and Dana Tangir (left) and Karina Chocron (right) received the 2011 Outstanding Volunteer Award in the Adult category.

Federation's 73rd Annual Meeting Is Just Around the Corner

There’s still time to register for the 73rd Annual Meeting of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation, taking place Thursday, May 26 at the Hilton Miami Downtown Miami. Federation will elect new officers and Board members and honor five special individuals for their dedication to the Jewish people.

Families Donate School Supplies to JCS Kosher Food Bank (September 2010)

After traveling to Israel with the Greater Miami Jewish Federation's “We Are Family Summer Mission to Israel” and returning home energized and ready to give back, several mission-participant families did just that by supporting two programs of Jewish Community Services of South Florida, a Federation local partner.
