United Jewish Generations (UJG) presents a Grand Klezmer Concert featuring authentic Klezmer music. Michael Winograd and the Honorable Mentshn Klezmer Band will thrill the audience with some of the most unique musical masterpieces that were very popular in the first half of the 20th century. Unfortunately, much of Klezmer music has been modified in order to merge with current popular music genres. However UJG has searched far and wide to bring pure, genuine Klezmer music in order to bring back the wonderful memories of wedding music from 50 plus years ago. Anyone that comes will be absolutely ecstatic when they hear this wonderful concert and especially seniors.

The performance will take place at the North Miami Beach Julius Littman Performing Arts Theatre on Sunday, February 10, 2019 at 2PM. Tickets are priced from $10 and up. The Honorable Mentshn Band is led by Virtuoso Klezmer clarinetist Michael Winograd who has performed and taught Klezmer music internationally, and is recognized as one of today's premier performers of Klezmer music. He is a co-founder of the Yiddish New York festival and the artistic director of KlezKanada, two of today's central hubs for Klezmer music and folk arts. The Honorable Mentshn Klezmer Band is truly a stellar group of musicians. There will also be an opening performance by the highly acclaimed Jaime Bronsztein Klezmer Band.

This show is a project of United Jewish Generations, a Chabad organization started 15 years ago by Rabbi Menachem Smith.
