Scheck Hillel Invites Community to Chanukah Event

Scheck Hillel Community School will host an early evening Chanukah celebration for the whole community. The first candle of Chanukah will be lit during the event.

The event includes live music, balloon man, face painting, rock climbing, bounce houses and carnival games for all the ages to enjoy. There will also be an “Hour of Code” interactive station, offering a taste of the student experience. Traditional Jewish holiday food favorites will be available for purchase.

This event is free of charge.

The 41st AJSE Chanukah Party

The Association for Jewish Special Education invites all to its 41st Chanukah Party, Dec. 10, Sunday, 1:30pm to 3:30pm, at the Greater Miami Jewish Federation, 4200 Biscayne Blvd, Miami 33137.

There will be the Lighting of the Chanukah candles, music, “White Elephant Auction,” games and more. The cost is $3.00 per person (Any admission charges for the Caregivers should be paid by the group homes)

A fun time for all!

The AJSE is a the 41- year-old local, nonprofit organization dedicated to provide holiday celebrations and life-cycle events for Jewish adults with developmental disabilities and their friends. The AJSE is supported by the Greater Miami Jewish Federation.
