Guidance

How can we personally become supportive to those suffering from this pandemic? Bikur Cholim is the answer. Explore this question and more at a 10-part virtual conference, “Renewing Bikur Cholim in the Time of COVID-19,” on alternate Mondays, beginning January 4 through May 10 from 7-8:30 p.m. Organized by Federation's Mishkan Miami in cooperation with Kovod v’Nichum, an organization focused on bringing comfort to those who are ill; Neshama: The Association of Jewish Chaplains and other local Jewish groups, the program will examine subjects such as using technology, new approaches to prayers and coping with loneliness. Presenters include rabbis, chaplains and medical experts. The cost is $72 for the 10 sessions and scholarships are available for those who need financial support. For more information, click here.
