AFMDA Annual Boca Raton-Delray Community Event

Wednesday, January 31, 2018, 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm

Annual gathering of those who LOVE saving lives in Israel through supporting Magen David Adom. Magen David Adom is government-mandated to provide the nation’s pre-hospital emergency medical needs, including the nation’s blood supply. Everyone in Israel knows someone — a family member, a friend, a neighbor, or a soldier — whose life has been positively impacted by Magen David Adom’s life-saving efforts. It is the most trusted medical services organization. MDA has more than 143 emergency medical stations and 11 dispatch centers throughout Israel, where trained EMTs field nearly 5,000,000 calls a year, and dispatch more than 1,000 ambulances, 300 Medicycles, and dozens of other rescue vehicles — staffed and supported by 27,000 EMTs, paramedics, first-responders, and Life Guardians. All Jewish leaders should show their support by attending this event. It is our hope that you will join with AFMDA to become a sustaining force — the very lifeblood of Israel-- through support of our work that is essential to the people of Israel.

Shalom Rav Dinner honoring Rabbi Gary and Joanie Glickstein

Saturday, February 03, 2018, TBD to TBD

The Shalom Rav Dinner at Temple Beth Sholom honoring the Glicksteins will be a fun filled evening of memories and a celebration of their legacy. We invite congregants, community leaders, colleagues, and the Glickstein’s friend and family to share in this special evening. How do we adequately express the appreciation to these incredible leaders of our community for all they have done for us as individuals and for this institution. They have led this congregation through good times and not so great times. They have helped us grow spiritually, individually, and congregationally, witnessing many of our milestones, our comings and goings. We came up with blueprint that offers several opportunities to say goodbye. For more information please visit tbsmb.org/shalomrav
