Jewish Alaska Adventure (August 2013)

Greener Travel Company LLC

2013-08-16

The 49th state was built by Jewish people, Jewish money and Jewish know-how. Although their numbers today are small, Jews are still disproportionately prominent in commercial and public life in Alaska today. For the first time, Greener Travel Company is excited to offer our travelers a unique adventure that will include an amazing introduction to Alaska, its wildlife, nature and people, as well as its local Jewish life and history. From visiting many unspoiled frontier towns and the national parks of Denali, Wrangell-St. Elias (the nations largest!), and Kenai Fjords; to exploring a remote ghost city, to traversing famous Prince William Sound to view whales, bald eagles, and glaciers; this overview of Alaska goes far beyond what the merely conventional tourist will ever see.
