Scheck Hillel Community School Hosts Third Annual Jewish Soccer Classic

North Miami Beach, FL- Scheck Hillel Community School is hosting Jewish day schools from across Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties –and as far away as Los Angeles– for their varsity soccer teams to compete in the third annual Jewish Soccer Classic. The schools include David Posnack Jewish Day School, Katz Yeshiva High School and YULA Boys High School of Los Angeles.
“We are very excited to host the 2017 Jewish Soccer Classic here at Scheck Hillel Community School and look forward to opening our season in the spirit of sport and ruach,” said Dr. Ezra Levy, Scheck Hillel’s Head of School.
The 2017 Classic girls’ tournament included David Posnack Jewish Day School, Katz Yeshiva High School and Scheck Hillel on October 30-31. All three schools showed incredible skill, talent and passion. Scheck Hillel earned the tourney title.
The boys’ competition will be on November 6-7, among David Posnack Jewish Day School, Katz Yeshiva High School, YULA Boys High School of Los Angeles and Scheck Hillel. The first boys' game is scheduled for Monday, November 6, at 5:00 PM, followed by a second match at 7:00 PM. Winners will compete the next day, Tuesday, November 7, at 7:00 PM.
