“Israeli Artists Help Create a Colorful Israel @68!

An Israeli Artists Fair will be part of an Israel @ 68 Community Celebration on Thursday, May 12, from 2 – 8pm, at the Michael-Ann Russell Jewish Community Center in North Miami Beach.

Coinciding with the actual date of Israel Independence Day, some of the presenting artists showing and selling their works are: •Meira Alkobi, who creates sculptural jewelry and Judaica with various kinds of metals, leather, and gems •Amir Ilani, who creates hand-made jewelry •Talma Liran, who creates hand-made jewelry •Yael Milfender, who creates Judaica art in wood •Liat Polotsky, whose painting create a magical world through color
•Yonit Rahmani, whose creates works of art through papier – mache – combining recycled plastic, old newspapers, and other materials. •Sarah Rom, whose paintings express her feelings through composition and color Elisheva Zabar, whose sculptures, in bronze and stone castings, reflects different human emotions.

The Israeli Artists Fair is open to the community, at no charge. It is one component of the Michael-Ann Russell Jewish Community Center’s Community Israel Independence Day Celebration, which will feature a family-oriented festival from 4 – 8pm, that will include entertainment, food and wine tasting, carnival attractions for the kids, interactive activity stations, food court, and more.
