JCAT Community Auditions for The Last Night of Ballyhoo

by Alfred Uhry Directed by Michael Andron
By the author of Driving Miss Daisy, this Tony Award winning play once again explores the lives of Jews in the American south. It is December of 1939. Gone with the Wind is having its world premiere, and Hitler is invading Poland, but Atlanta's uppercrust Freitag family is much more concerned with who is going to Ballyhoo, Atlanta’s Jewish cotillion and the social event of the season. The ensuing comedy proves both hilarious and thought provoking as it touches on themes of assimilation, anti-semitism and change.

Show Dates: March 14-25

Auditions will be held on: Tuesday, 12/26 7-9, Wednesday 12/27 7-9, Wednesday 1/3 7-9
