Selected as one of 10 Jewish schools, The Samuel Scheck Hillel Community Day School | The Ben Lipson Hillel Community High School proudly received a Kellogg Foundation grant through the Covenant Foundation to launch parent-teacher dialogues around Ellen Galinsky's book Mind in the Making: The Seven Essential Life Skills Every Child Needs.
Become part of Hillel's learning community of parents and teachers in the school's Mind in the Making Book Club. A limited supply of books is being offered for free, distributed on a first come-first served basis. Books also are available at online and local bookstores. Hillel's first session about Chapter 1 will be Tuesday, September 20, 8 pm, at Hillel's North Miami Beach campus. This community event is free of charge and welcomes Jewish parents of children of all ages.
