How did American's and the U.S. Government respond to news of the Holocaust? What did this mean for the Jews of Nazi occupied Europe and the many refugees seeking to escape? Why did President Roosevelt eventually authorize the War Refugee Board? Dr. Rebecca Erbelding, a historian with the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum will offer insight to these questions and a little known chapter of Holocaust history.
