Event Details

Description

Observe Holocaust Remembrance Day with your Miami Jewish community on Sunday, April 28 during a powerful Yom HaShoah ceremony at the Holocaust Memorial Miami Beach. Remember the past, create a better future and keep memory alive, generation to generation. This year's special, multi-generational program will bring together local teens on the eve of their March of the Living experience and Holocaust survivors to share powerful testimony and memorialize the 6 million Jews who perished during the Shoah.
The Yom HaShoah observance is being presented by the Holocaust Memorial Miami Beach, a Committee of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation, in partnership with a coalition of civic, cultural, educational and charitable organizations. It is supported by the City of Miami Beach Cultural Affairs Program, Cultural Arts Council and State of Florida Department of Education and the Florida, Department of State, Department of Cultural Affairs.
