Event Details
Description
3,500 volunteers from 37 countries put their lives on the line and came to build Israel's Air Force and serve as infantry soldiers. Of the total volunteers, 1,500 came from the US—despite the fact the that US State Department declared aiding Israel as an illegal act. The film tells the story of the American participants, who by fighting in a “foreign” army broke U.S. laws and risked the loss of their citizenship.
After the film Fred will speak of his personal experiences and will conduct a Q&A.
