Description
Beth Torah Benny Rok Campus will host a special Seder for Jewish adults 18 and over who have developmental or physical challenges.
Each participant will be partnered one-on-one with a volunteer to guide them through the seder, and can be accompanied by a caregiver or family member.
This will be “experiential” with a simplified Haggadah utilizing pictures, an individual seder plate for each person, music, singing, photos and keepsakes, and a Kosher for Passover seder dinner followed by more singing and even dancing.
Many volunteers are needed, not only to partner with participants but to help set up, cleanup, or be greeters, food servers, etc., for various lengths of time between 11 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. the day of the event.
