Description

Historian Robert Watson discovered a forgotten story, sealed in British archives for over 60 years. The German luxury ocean liner SS Cap Arcona was used by the Nazis as a troop transport and in WWII's final days, was packed with concentration camp prisoners. Just days before Germany surrendered, the Cap Arcona was mistakenly bombed by the British Royal Air Force, and nearly all of the prisoners were killed in the last major tragedy of the Holocaust and one of history's worst maritime disasters.
