Description
The Violins of Hope: Strings of the Holocaust is a project of renowned Israeli violinmaker, Amnon who has devoted the past 20 years to restoring the violins of the Holocaust. Behind each of these violins is a unique and inspiring story which signifies so much history which will be shared in a brief video presentation before the concert.
This special performance, conducted by world famous violinist, Gary Levinson, Sr. Principal Associate Concertmaster of the Dallas Symphony, is being co-sponsored by the Shul and The Young Israel of Bal Harbour. The repertoire for the evening will include Jewish compositions composed during this dark time of our collective history. The role of violins during the war was to touch hearts and kindle hope for a better time – wherever there was music, there was hope.

six million Jews who perished during the Holocaust by celebrating the human spirit that strongly
