Help distribute food and toys to more than 300 families in need at the Federation Kosher Food Distribution Drive-Thru. Following CDC guidelines, masks are required and volunteers will be placing food and gift packages in vehicle trunks.

Help deliver completed projects to recipient organizations in Miami, located near the Federation Headquarters.

Pick up supplies from Federation Headquarters to complete
any of the activities below at home. Gather the family to assemble them together and return the completed projects the next day to the drop-off location of your choice indicated below.*

So Fresh and So Clean


Create hygiene kits for organizations that benefit men, women and children experiencing homelessness. The kits will be distributed to Camillus House, Lotus House and Seeking Shelter.

Capacity: 30 volunteers

Bunches of Lunches


Assemble bagged meals for men, women and children experiencing food insufficiency in Miami. (Volunteers are asked to provide a choice of protein for sandwiches.) The lunches will benefit Camillus House and Seeking Shelter.

Capacity: 50 volunteers

Sweet Snacking


Pack snack bags and inspirational notes requested by local agencies for families, children and after-school programs including those at Ronald McDonald House and Branches, an organization that helps underserved families.

Capacity: 20 volunteers

*Each bag of supplies will also include materials needed for Project Inspiration. Volunteers will create beaded chains with an inspirational word of choice to include in each completed hygiene kit, lunch and snack bag. All supplies and instructions will be provided.

Purchase supplies to complete the following family-friendly
volunteer opportunities at home. Then drop off the completed projects the next day to at the regional location of your choice at the times listed below. Federation will distribute them to benefitting organizations.

Fabric Masks & Mask Chains


Many men and women who are experiencing homelessness do not have access to masks to help stop the spread of COVID-19. Put your crafting skills to work and help make fabric masks and beaded chains for organizations serving this population including Seeking Shelter and Miami Rescue Mission.

You will receive a shopping list of supplies upon registration.

Homemade Cards


Call upon your creativity to make “Thinking of You” cards for residents of Miami Rescue Mission. Use supplies you have around the house or buy materials to make your masterpiece.

You will receive some inspirational examples upon registration.

Baskets of Hope


Create themed baskets by purchasing requested items for a variety of Miami nonprofits. Organizations receiving the baskets include Camillus House, Jewish Community Services Kosher Food Bank, Miami Rescue Mission and Ronald McDonald House.

Wish lists will be sent upon registration.
