Join your community to celebrate Israel’s 70th birthday at the Greater Miami Jewish Federation Main Event on Monday, February 12 at 5:30 p.m. at the Hilton Miami Downtown. Chaired by Nadine and Steve Foldes, The Main Event is one of Federation’s largest events of the year. Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen will be honored with the 2018 Friend of Israel Humanitarian Award and

Calling all young adults! Do you know what you’re doing this summer? How about a free trip to Israel with Taglit-Birthright Israel and Israel Outdoors? Registration for all Birthright trips is now open. Funded annually by Federation, Birthright brings Jewish young adults closer to their history, identity and Israel. If you are 22-26, come join a special trip from June 13 to 25 specifically designed for Miami-Dade residents. Celebrate the 10th annual Jewish Disability Awareness & Inclusion Month (JDAIM). February is a time to discover new, dynamic and interactive ways to develop insight and understanding about individuals with special needs and explore meaningful inclusion practices through this nationally supported effort. Federation is proud to help local organizations support and bring awareness to people with disabilities in our community and around the world. Federation's new program, Elevate South Dade Emerging Leaders, is helping the next generation of Jewish leaders and activists find their voice in the South Dade community.
