THE CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC has dramatically changed our world. What hasn’t changed is the way the Greater Miami Jewish Federation addresses a crisis. We mobilize the human and financial resources necessary to provide immediate assistance to the most vulnerable people through our infrastructure that is in place always — ready to act at a moment’s notice. THIS IS EXACTLY WHY FEDERATION EXISTS. All this is made possible by by generous donors who contribute to the Annual Greater Miami Jewish Federation/UJA Campaign. This broad, unrestricted support funds a wide safety net of essential programs, providing precisely what our community needs, day in and day out. The human impact of the COVID-19 crisis is tremendous. People have lost jobs and wages and are experiencing food insecurity, social isolation, psychological stress and so much more. People are truly hurting. Federation is working diligently through our Coronavirus Crisis Response Task Force and our network of vital agencies to provide much certainty in this uncertain world.
