30th Annual Ministering to the Elderly Conference on Thursday, May 14

The 30th Annual Ministering to the Elderly Conference will address family estrangement, which affects about one fourth of all Americans and can greatly impact the emotional, physical and financial health of seniors. Taking place on Thursday, May 14 at Miami Jewish Health, the Conference will feature keynote speaker Karl A. Pillemer, PhD, an internationally renowned family sociologist and gerontologist who has extensively researched the topic of family estrangement and reconciliation. Presented by Federation’s Mishkan Miami, Jewish Community Services of South Florida and Miami Jewish Health, the Conference is a practical forum for caring professionals, community and spiritual leaders and all those concerned with enriching the lives of older adults. The cost to attend is $36 per person and includes lunch and continuing education credits for qualified participants. Click here for more information and to register.
