Diller Teen Fellows Visit to Federation Partner City Yerucham

“Being able to ground myself in the lifestyle of Israeli teenagers has made my connection to the country even stronger,” said Diller Teen Fellow Tamar Grobman of the Miami cohort’s visit to Yerucham. The group arrived in Federation’s Israeli partner city for Community Week with 18 of their Yerucham teen peers. A cornerstone of the Diller Teen Fellows program, this three-week immersive journey brings Israeli and North American teens together for shared living, learning and leadership. The teens spent time visiting Federation partner MindCET to witness Israeli innovation firsthand, created Moroccan tiles and experienced the beauty of Mitzpe Ramon and the Negev Desert. Through home hospitality with their Yerucham Diller fellows, community engagement and meaningful conversations, participants build lasting friendships and strengthen the unique partnership between their communities.
