Grandparents and Grandchildren Visit Israel Together as Part of an Innovative Program

Participants from the G2: Global Intergenerational Initiative recently returned from an amazing week of discovery, exploration and volunteering in Israel. Miami and Yerucham are part of The Jewish Agency's pilot G2 program pairing grandparents with their preteen grandchildren to explore history, meaningful connections and Jewish traditions. The local G2 group from Temple Beth Sholom on Miami Beach has been meeting monthly with a curriculum centered on Jewish values. The culminating week in Israel was an incredible opportunity to explore the country as one global Jewish family..
