Federation Works Together With Youth Futures to Mentor Children at Risk

“Youth Futures helped me understand that I am the hero of my own story,” said Liat, a participant in the Federation-funded youth intervention program. Youth Futures Yerucham currently operates in four schools across our partner city in southern Israel. By guiding children and their families during pivotal stages of growth, the program strengthens resilience, fosters belonging and expands opportunities for meaningful involvement in their schools and community. Many of the students face ongoing academic challenges addressed by Youth Futures initiatives that encourage inclusion and personal growth. “There was an adult who truly saw me and believed I was capable of more than I believed about myself,” added Liat.
