Holocaust Memorial, Greater Miami Jewish Federation

Sunday, February 10, 2019, 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM

A unique B’nai Mitzvah project for students becoming a Bar or Bat Mitzvah. Students are asked to honor their survivor partner during their Bar or Bat Mitzvah service and make a gift of $180 to the Annual Greater Miami Jewish Federation/UJA Campaign. They will receive a certificate of completion and their Young Lion of Judah jewelry gift – a silver bracelet for girls and a silver talit clip for boys. For an application or for more ways to become a Young Lion of Judah, please contact Jewish Volunteer Center Director Lori Tabachnikoff at 786.866.8380 or Volunteer@JewishMiami.org.

Kosher Food and Wine Miami brings the best of Kosher Food and Wine to Miami each year. Taste sumptuous samples and make a difference! And what is wine without the food? You will have a chance to sample culinary options from some of the finest kosher restaurants and caterers South Florida has to offer showcasing elegantly presented signature dishes. This one-of-its-kind event will not only promote the kosher trade industry and Israel’s ever evolving techno-agricultural production, but it will help us continue our 96-year long labor of love bettering the lives of thousands of children and women in the State of Israel through WIZO’s over 800 educational and social projects.
