We are all going to be doing Seder a little differently this year, so why not explore not just the traditional melodies, but learn a few new tunes as well. In this session, Cantor Norman will dive into the meaning of some of the songs and refresh the tunes, as well as teach new tunes that may not be known to people.

Shirat HaYam: Singing at the Sea
Since we are all yearning for a sense of freedom, why not look at Judaism's quintessential "Freedom Song" - Shirat Hayam (Exodus 15:1-21)? This is traditionally read on Seventh Day Pesach, a few days after this session. Cantor Norman will explore the particularities of the song, some stories out of Jewish tradition, and some melodies that are based on this text.
