Community Support Coordinator

Job Summary

The Community Support Coordinator (CSC) will manage all activities related to implementing a Federal grant-funded program utilizing Person-Centered, Trauma-Informed (PCTI) supportive services for Holocaust services to prevent or respond to crisis situations. The CSC will convene a leadership council comprised of relevant public, private and non-profit lay and professional leaders to develop strategies to help prevent and/or resolve crises for Holocaust survivors. The CSC will participate in PCTI training programs and will ensure that all appropriate parties are trained in PCTI care.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Convene leadership council to plan and facilitate project

• Devise program based upon identified needs

• Oversee implementation of the program including marketing

• Gather, maintain and prepare all required information from partners and for reporting to funders

• Develop and maintain budget as well as tracking and reporting of expenditures

• Participate in training opportunities as provided and ensure relevant training is provided to local partners

• Ensure that accurate and timely data is collected which provide assess impact of program

Qualifications and Experience

• Three or more years of relevant experience in Jewish communal, nonprofit, public sector, healthcare or other related field.

• Knowledge and experience related to serving older adults with preferred experience related to Holocaust survivors and person-centered, trauma-informed care.

• Demonstrated ability to interact and collaborate with community organizations, funders and community members.

• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

• Ability to travel out of town occasionally

• Proficiency in Microsoft products, including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
