2019 Leo Martin March of the Living Registration

Registration for the 2019 Leo Martin March of the Living Program opens July 16, 2018

The March of the Living is a six-month educational program that culminates in a two-week educational travel experience for Jewish 12th graders. The program travels to Poland and Israel in order to study the history of the Holocaust and examine the roots of prejudice, intolerance and hate.

On Yom Hashoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day), students participate in a three-kilometer March from Auschwitz to Birkenau as a silent tribute to victims of the Shoah. Students observe Yom Ha'zikaron (Israel's Memorial Day) and celebrate Yom Ha'atzmaut (Israel's Independence Day) while they are in Israel. The March of the Living provides opportunities to learn about our past, increase Jewish identity and foster a commitment to the land of Israel and the Jewish people.
