Attend Miami’s Yom Hashoah Commemoration

Next weekend’s Yom HaShoah observance is a chance to stand in solidarity with your Miami community, pay tribute to the 6 million Jewish men, women and children who were murdered during the Holocaust and honor the strength and courage of the Survivors. Join us at 6 p.m. on Sunday, May 5 at the Holocaust Memorial Miami Beach for a meaningful program that will include guest speakers from the Miami community, musical interludes, candlelighting and testimony from eyewitnesses to the Shoah. Holocaust Survivor Anita Karl will share her experiences as a little girl escaping the Lvov Ghetto and surviving the war by pretending to be Catholic. At this precarious time for Israel and the Jewish people, it’s incumbent upon us to remember the promise of “Never Again.” The event will take place rain or shine. For more information, click here. The Holocaust Memorial Miami Beach is a Committee of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation.
