Adrian Criscaut
Adrian Criscaut is a bilingual, multimedia journalist born in Caracas, Venezuela. He immigrated to the US with his wife and two children in 2013. He works as a television news reporter for Telemundo 51 and has expanded the station’s news coverage to include Palm Beach County. Before arriving in South Florida, Criscaut was an International news correspondent, based in Caracas, for CNN en Espanol and CNN I. He covered all major political, economic and social events from the moment Hugo Chávez became President. At the recommendation of the American Embassy in Venezuela, he also served as Voice of America’s correspondent in Caracas.
His many honors include the Broadcasting Board of Governors David Burke Distinguished Journalism Award, which recognized his courage, integrity and bravery while reporting from one of the most dangerous places in the world. Criscaut has also been nominated for several Emmy Awards.
