Federation Announces Calendar of Community Events Celebrating Israel’s 65th Anniversary

The modern State of Israel marks her 65th anniversary on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 (Yom Ha’Atzmaut, or Israel’s Independence Day) and JCCs, synagogues and other Jewish organizations across Miami are joining in the festivities by presenting more than two weeks of Israel-themed events that are open to the community.

To make it easy to find out about these programs — and to encourage participation — the Greater Miami Jewish Federation has created a special Israel 65 calendar on JewishMiami.org/Israel65.
