2022 Jewish Incubator Grants

• 3G Miami: 3G Miami provides speaker trainings for grandchildren of Holocaust Survivors in Miami, and builds a network of teachers for classroom Holocaust educational opportunities.

• Chai Lifeline: I-Shine is an after-school program that offers emotional support (one-on-one support), peer support (meeting other children experiencing similar situations) and practical support (help with homework, meals) to families impacted by serious illness.

• Chai Seniors: Yad Yosef VeYitzchak (Miami Division) partners with existing food banks to provide produce on a weekly basis to households in Miami facing food-insecurity, distributed through local synagogues.

• Congregation Dor Chadash: Caring Caravan for Jewish Seniors of South Dade provides educational and social components to isolated Jewish seniors and vulnerable individuals of South Dade, including weekly delivery of boxed Shabbat meals, Zoom classes, wellness check phone calls, and The Intergenerational Club, pairing Religious School students with seniors for help with their studies.

• Eshel: Eshel South Florida offers support to Orthodox LGBTQ+ Jews and their family members and provides information and awareness building for community leaders and educators.

• Hillel at Florida International University: J-Lats National Connections activates and unites students of both Jewish and Latinx heritage, creating connections through programming relating to their unique dual identity.

• Israel Scouts: Shevet Barak holds weekly activities, year-round enrichments seminars, sleep-away camp experiences, and community events for Hebrew-speaking children in grades 3-12 in the Greater Miami area, led by a head counselor (Rakaz).

• JAFCO Children’s Ability Center: Lifeline Program provides intensive support services and 24/7 crisis help to families of children with special needs.

• Jewish Community Services: JCS Home Store is a one-stop shop allowing those experiencing financial insecurity to “shop” for new home goods and toiletries.

• Keshet: LGBTQ Equality and Inclusion promotes LGBTQ inclusion work in the Miami Jewish community through expanded education and training offerings.

• National Council of Jewish Women: Building Bridges Joining Hands provides anti-bias curriculum connecting students of diverse backgrounds, cultures, and religions through Zoom technology.

• NCSY/JSU: Hate Ends Now is a Holocaust educational initiative taking visitors inside an exhibit housed in a cattle car replica used to transport Jews to concentration camps.

• Nicklaus Children’s Hospital Foundation: Celebrating Jewish Spirituality and Religious Diversity serves the spiritual needs of Jewish patients and families with Shabbat and holiday kits, holiday craft table  and celebration of Religious Diversity Month.

• StandWithUs: IsraelLINK provide an online Israel education for middle school students, including training for parents and Jewish educators.

• Yesh Tikva: The Compassionate Community Project is an educational communal initiative to promote awareness and sensitivity of infertility in the Miami Jewish community.
