Meet Our Speakers

Esther N. Halperin, LCSW is a clinical social worker who maintains a private practice on Miami Beach. She has conducted research on teenage disordered eating habits, and is co-creator of NeumanMethod.com Creating Your Best Marriage Program. She provided guidance counseling for the early childhood program at the Hebrew Academy of Miami Beach. She has served as a counselor for women and children of domestic violence as well as in the Neonatal Unit for Broward County hospital. She conducts trainings for the Nationally based Sandcastles, Children of Divorce Program. Her work has been featured in Parenting, Your Teen Magazine, The Mother Company, and the Jewish Press.

Dr. Netta Shaked, SOUTH BEACH PSYCHOLOGIST®, is a Florida and New York licensed psychologist. Dr. Shaked provides therapy, couples counseling, family therapy, psychological evaluations, and gifted/accommodations testing in her South Beach psychology private practice. Born in Israel, raised in Tel Aviv, Toronto, Miami, and schooled in Ann Arbor and Manhattan, Dr. Shaked is fluent in English, Spanish and Hebrew. Dr. Shaked completed her PhD in Counseling Psychology at Fordham University in Manhattan. She holds an MS in Marriage and Family Therapy from University of Miami, and a BA with honors in Psychology from University of Michigan.
