2026 Women’s Amutot Initiative Grantees Announced

Twenty-four nonprofits will receive a total of more than $350,000 in grants from Federation’s Women’s Amutot Initiative (WAI) to advance social, economic, religious and political equality for Israeli women. Since 2003, the WAI has championed marginalized and vulnerable female populations across Israel. Funding from Federation’s Annual Campaign and generous donors is addressing a variety of key issues. Grantees for 2026 are protecting and caring for victims of violence; developing women’s leadership in politics, education and other areas; empowering women socially through advocacy and legal representation; and helping women enhance their economic independence through business mentorship, job training and placement assistance and more.
