General Assembly Registration Now Open

Registration is now open for The Jewish Federations of North America’s 2011 General Assembly (GA). Taking place November 6-8 in Denver, Colorado, the GA is the premier annual North American Jewish communal event. The goals of the conference are to inspire and engage current and emerging Jewish leaders, tackle the critical issues of the day and showcase the best of federation’s work.

The Greater Miami Jewish Federation encourages members of the Miami Jewish community to attend the three-day conference and learn side-by-side with leaders from Jewish communities across North America. “The GA is a 101 course on being a North American Jew. Attendees will get a perspective of the strength of our community by its numbers as well as the wealth of intellect of our community,” said Federation Board Member Lezlie Poyastro.

The GA will be packed with VIP speakers, including world leaders and top experts from the worlds of philanthropy, business, religion, culture and more. “You will come away newly informed, reconnected and invigorated to do more for Israel, world Jewry and your local community,” said Poyastro.

The Jewish Federations of North America represents 157 Jewish federations and serves as the umbrella organization linking 400 non-federated communities, the Network of Independent Communities.
