Federation’s Women’s Amutot Helps Israeli Single Mothers Succeed

Your donation to the Annual Federation/UJA Campaign is helping single mothers in Israel achieve financial stability. Grants from the Women’s Amutot Initiative help support YEDID: Single Mothers for Change. The national coalition of single mothers works to break down the economic, social and bureaucratic barriers facing single parents, and offers training in community organizing and social activism. Tena, a divorced mother of three children, was in a dire financial situation before finding YEDID. “As part of the coalition, I am making a huge difference — not just for myself and my family, but for working single mothers everywhere in Israel.”
