Bring Israel Into Your Home by Hosting a Shinshin

Federation is seeking warm hearts and homes to host one of two 18-year-old Israeli shinshinim coming soon to Jewish Miami. These exceptional young women have deferred their IDF service to spend a meaningful year volunteering in our Jewish community, spending time with children in Jewish schools and educating and connecting people of all ages to Israel. If you live in Miami-Dade County and can offer a private bedroom and daily meals for a shinshin beginning in late August, please consider this exciting opportunity. Your guest will become a true part of your family and a wonderful big sister to your children. Placements are typically three months, but can be arranged for a shorter period if necessary.
