Celebrate Israeli Independence Day With Your Friends and Neighbors

Yom Ha’Atzmaut, Israeli Independence Day, is Thursday, May 1, and there are plenty of opportunities to celebrate right here in Miami! From rikudim (Israeli dance) shows and Krav Maga demonstrations to concerts, Israeli-themed arts and crafts activities and Lunch & Learns, there is something for everyone. Our recently released Jewish Miami: A 2024 Community Study demonstrated that Miami Jews have a deep connection to Israel and are highly engaged in Jewish community. Remarkably, 97 percent feel a sense of belonging to the Jewish people and 78 percent feel emotionally attached to Israel, compared to 58 percent nationally. Now more than ever, it’s time to come together in pride, unity and ruach to celebrate our ancestral homeland. Click here to see all the events celebrating the 77th anniversary of the State of Israel and then plan to attend.
