Donate a Burial Plot for a Jewish Person in Need

Providing a dignified Jewish burial for someone who lacks financial means is one of the greatest acts of tzedakah. That is the goal of Federation’s Indigent Burial Program. Each year, Federation receives dozens of requests for assistance with burials from families, cemeteries, funeral homes, police and medical facilities. Through our Indigent Burial Program, managed by Mishkan Miami, The Jewish Connection for Spiritual Support, Federation partners with local cemeteries, funeral homes and monument makers to provide burial plots and Jewish interment for individuals who are unable to afford them. If you would like to donate a burial plot or contribute to this mitzvah through the Tzedakah Fund, contact Nicole Alonso at [email protected] or 786.866.8655.
