Make Your Federation Donation Tax-Deductible

“It has been my privilege to play a meaningful role in what became my lifetime passion, the strengthening of the Jewish people, the Jewish community and Israel,” said Norman Lipoff, a past Chair of The Foundation and a past Federation President. Together with his wife, Nancy — also a past Foundation Chair and a past Women’s Philanthropy President — Norman pays his Annual Federation/UJA Campaign contribution through an IRA Charitable Rollover. This option enables donors age 70½ years and older to transfer up to $105,000 directly to Federation each year from a retirement account. Norman added, “For the past several years, I have been making part of my Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) from my IRA to Federation as a Qualified Charitable Distribution. It is an easy and effective way to make a donation, as it reduces our taxable income.” For more information, please click here.
