Donor-Advised Funds Provide Charitable Flexibility

Looking for an easy, flexible and tax-smart way to support our Jewish community and your favorite charities? Consider opening a Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) through The Foundation of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation. DAFs are the fastest-growing charitable giving vehicle in the United States and they are both easy to set up and provide great tax advantages. DAFs are like “charitable bank accounts,” allowing donors and families to give by creating a fund with gifts of cash, stock or other types of appreciated assets; invest your donation for tax-free growth; and make grants over time from the fund to support the charities and causes you care about.
