Expand Your Horizons by Becoming Young Lion of Judah

Calling all B'nai Mitzvah students: Become a Young Lion of Judah and create intergenerational relationships with Holocaust Survivors, while learning to share their brave stories of survival. A true collaboration within Jewish Miami, the initiative pairs B’nai Mitzvah students with local Survivors and is a partnership between the Holocaust Memorial Miami Beach, a Federation Committee, and the Federation Volunteer Center (FVC). Teens becoming B’nai Mitzvah before August 2026 will learn about the Holocaust firsthand while completing up to 15 hours of community service. During the program, each student will meet regularly with their Survivor partner, forging a friendship and learning to tell their Holocaust story. Applications are now being accepted for the next session, October 16-February 22. For more information, click here or contact FVC Director Lori Tabachikoff at [email protected] directly for an application.
