Federation Is Caring for the Hostages

As our beloved hostages return home, Federation is supporting their recovery and reintegration into Israeli society. We anxiously await the release of three more hostages tomorrow, along with all of our Israeli brothers and sisters who remain in captivity. The healing journey will be lengthy for the freed hostages as well as their families, and they are receiving assistance through a number of Federation-funded nonprofits on the ground in Israel. One such organization is the Tribe of Nova Foundation, founded by the organizers of the Nova Music Festival after October 7. The goal of the initiative is to save lives, help heal and empower the community, prevent suicides and create a community-based outlet for all attendees. In addition to grants from JFNA's national Israel Emergency Fund (IEF), Federation allocated funds from our local IEF for trauma care.
