Federation Fighting Antisemitism Around the World

With Jews around the world experiencing record levels of antisemitic hate crime, harassment and assault since October 7, 2023, one aspect of Federation’s work has become even more critical — protecting our worldwide family from the scourge of Jew hatred. As many Jewish communities contend with ongoing danger and new forms of vulnerability, Federation’s global partners are responding with resilience, security and mental health initiatives specifically tailored to each area’s needs. For example, at one of Amsterdam’s Jewish schools, where students are experiencing fear and anxiety, Federation allies are offering trauma-awareness training for staff, stronger parent engagement opportunities and support for students' diverse needs, such as Israeli children coping with the impact of war and stress on their families.
