Federation Makes a Difference for Survivors of Domestic and Sexual Abuse

Federation longtime support of Maslan, the Negev’s Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence Support Center, has helped facilitate its vital impact over the past year. Maslan provides emotional support and practical aid to survivors and their families. In 2025 alone, Maslan’s abuse prevention and awareness education reached more than 15,500 participants in almost 170 locations throughout Israel’s south, including the Gaza Envelope communities deeply traumatized by October 7. Logging more than 3,000 calls from its 24/7 multilingual helpline and online chat service and supplying more than 4,800 hours of therapy sessions, the nonprofit continues to raise public awareness, power social change and reduce the levels of sexual and domestic violence, especially during this turbulent time in Israel’s history.
