A Game of Hope and Solidarity With Israel

In a powerful display of resilience and hope, former hostages and survivors of October 7 took to the courts during the 2026 Maccabiah Games — often called the "Jewish Olympics" — along with Israeli basketball legends and new olim (immigrants). The game enabled participants to thank the worldwide Jewish community for standing with former hostages and their families, while also reaffirming the unbreakable connection between Israel and the Jewish people. Many of the players were new olim who chose to immigrate following the October 7 attacks, demonstrating their firm commitment to helping the nation recover and rebuild. Together, we continue moving forward with strength, solidarity and a shared commitment to one another. Am Israel Chai!
