Giving Infants With Disabilities a Brighter Future

Your donation to Federation helps provide one-on-one early intervention therapies for Israeli infants with disabilities and those who love them. The Me and My Mommy initiative, created by Shalva - The Israel Association for Care and Inclusion of Persons With Disabilities, supports the development of babies in the first 18 months of life, as well as their families. Provided free of charge, services include speech, physical, occupational, massage and water-based therapies in a nurturing environment during a critical period of growth. Support groups are also available for parents, siblings and grandparents and families can join their baby in therapy sessions. One grateful mother said, “I learned that despite the challenges, Down syndrome is not the end of the world … and I began connecting with my beautiful little girl.”
