Hebraica Maccabi Games Celebrates 40 Years

Join our Jewish community at the 40th Annual Hebraica Maccabi Games! What started with 200 athletes is now the largest annual Jewish athletic event of its kind in the US. From Thursday, November 18-Sunday, November 28, hundreds of Jewish individuals from all over the world will gather at the Michael-Ann Russell Jewish Community Center, a Federation partner agency, for an Olympic-style competition in 17 different events. Cheer on your favorite team and don’t forget to stop by the JCC Plaza with new and unwrapped toys for Federation’s Jewish Volunteer Center (JVC) Annual Holiday Toy Drive. JVC will distribute the items to local children and teens in partnership with nonprofits Branches, EnFamilia, JCS Kosher Food Bank, Sant La Haitian Neighborhood Center and Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church during the holiday season. Can’t make it in person? Shop online using JVC’s Toy Drive Amazon Wish List and have items shipped to the Federation address on file.
