Help Victims of Hurricane Melissa

Be part of Jewish Miami’s response to help victims of Hurricane Melissa. As the most powerful hurricane ever to strike Jamaica, Hurricane Melissa barreled into the small island country on Tuesday, October 28 as a devastating Category 5 storm, causing widespread damage and destruction. The Greater Miami Jewish Federation has established an Emergency Relief Fund to assist individuals impacted by Hurricane Melissa. CLICK HERE TO MAKE A SECURE DONATION. Federation partners are conducting assessments to determine the greatest needs in all the hard hit areas, including Jamaica, Cuba and the neighboring islands. As always, Federation will absorb all administrative costs so that 100 percent of funds donated to Hurricane Melissa relief will provide critically needed aid to the communities affected by this devastating storm. You may also send a check payable to the Greater Miami Jewish Federation with the notation “Hurricane Melissa Emergency Relief Fund” to 4200 Biscayne Boulevard, Miami, FL 33137.
