New Resources Available to Miami Families Through Jewish Fertility Foundation

For more than a decade, Federation’s Hebrew Free Loan Association of Miami (HFLA) has provided interest-free loans to would-be parents for fertility treatments. Now, Jewish individuals and families will have even more resources available to them through the Jewish Fertility Foundation (JFF). Made possible through a generous donation to Federation by Miami resident and philanthropist Monica Peisach Sasson, the national JFF organization will soon be opening its 10th location — in Miami. It will offer financial grants, emotional support and guidance to those struggling in their journey toward parenthood, while partnering with HFLA. “We are thrilled to welcome JFF to Miami,” said Michelle Ben-Aviv, who launched HFLA’s Making Miracle Babies Fertility Fund with her husband, Matan, at the bris of their son 10 and a half years ago. “JFF will greatly enhance our Jewish community’s ability to help individuals and couples achieve their dreams of having a baby and will also provide excellent support services along the way. It really takes everything to the next level.” HFLA, a program of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation, receives yearly funding from the Annual Federation/UJA Campaign.
